This Refund Policy explains the rules and procedures regarding refunds when using the booking services of the ApexLoge platform, operated by "Adstic Interactive" Ltd.
1. The role of ApexLoge
ApexLoge is a SaaS platform and technology provider. We are not a party to the service contract between you (the End Customer) and the respective Salon/Professional (the Business).
ApexLoge does NOT hold, manage or operate funds paid by End Customers. All payments flow directly from the customer to the Business's account via the payment operator Stripe.
Accordingly, ApexLoge cannot directly issue refunds for services that were not delivered, were cancelled, or were of poor quality.
2. Refund requests from End Customers
If you are an End Customer and wish to cancel a booking or request a refund:
- Contact the Salon directly: all refund requests must be directed to the Business where you booked. Each business has its own Cancellation Policy that applies to your booking.
- Processing by the Business: the Business has functionality in its ApexLoge profile (as well as directly in Stripe) to initiate a refund to your card. The amount usually appears in your bank account within 5 to 10 business days after the Business has approved and initiated the refund.
3. Automatic refunds for unverified Businesses (per Stripe rules)
As a technology platform, we work with Stripe for payment processing. Stripe has strict regulatory requirements (Know Your Customer - KYC).
- Businesses that register (including as individuals) have a set deadline to provide the documents required for verification (ID, address, bank account).
- If a Business does not verify successfully, Stripe pauses payouts to its bank account.
- If a Business's account remains unverified for an extended period (usually after 30 to 45 days, with the deadline varying by Stripe's regional rules), Stripe may permanently close the Business's account.
- In that case, Stripe automatically initiates an auto-refund process for all transactions held in the unverified account, returning the funds to the End Customers' cards.
- This process is entirely controlled by Stripe and ApexLoge has no involvement in it.
4. Refunds to Businesses (Platform subscriptions)
If you are a Business (Salon) paying a monthly/annual ApexLoge subscription for software use:
- Subscriptions are charged automatically at the start of each billing period.
- You can cancel your subscription at any time from your profile. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period.
- Subscription fees already paid are non-refundable, unless there is a proven technical failure on our side that prevented you from using the service entirely.
